What is CodeRED
CodeRED is a web-based critical communication solution that enables the Township of Winfield to notify residents and visitors by telephone, text message, email and social media of time-sensitive information, emergencies or urgent notifications. The system can notify individuals within minutes to ensure information such as evacuation or shelter-in-place notices, missing persons, inclement weather advisories and more. Only authorized and trained officials have access to send alerts using the CodeRED system.

How will I recognize a CodeRED message?
A CodeRED Emergency and General message will have a caller ID of (206)536-3695. We suggest you program this number in your cell phone as a new contact and use “Winfield NJ Alert” as the contact name. You may also receive text messages from 24639 and suggest you add that number into your contact list also. Additionally, if you opt to receive email messages we suggest you add "[email protected]" to your safe email list so an email message doesn't end up in a spam folder.
